Exciting News! Airsoft amendment to Bill C-21 passed at SECU

The SECU Committee has made a decision to approve the NDP amendment that effectively eliminates airsoft clause from the Bill. As a result, airsoft is no longer referenced in the legislation, providing a sense of relief for stakeholders. The government has expressed a willingness to collaborate with industry members to develop regulatory measures, incorporating suggestions that were presented during the committee's proceedings. This outcome marks a significant victory for our industry, which has been grappling with the issue for the past two years.
